About
I am a post-doctoral clinical psychologist* working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples in both therapy and psychological assessment. My work is centered on helping people make sense of the patterns that shape their lives, especially the ones that feel confusing, stuck, or quietly persistent. Therapy becomes a place to think together, to better understand what is happening internally and relationally, and to develop changes that feel both meaningful and workable in daily life.
My work is grounded in psychodynamic psychology. I also find many approaches rich and helpful, including relational psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, solution-focused, and Internal Family Systems. I see them as lenses and tools that can deepen understanding and support change. I draw from them flexibly, guided by what feels most useful in the work at a given time.
I have specialized training and experience working with neurodivergent individuals and families, including autism, ADHD, and OCD, across therapy, couples work, and comprehensive assessment. I take a neurodiversity-affirming approach that prioritizes understanding context and lived experience over pathologizing difference, and supports clients in developing insight, flexibility, and more effective ways of navigating relationships, school, and work.
My clinical experience includes work in college counseling centers, hospital psychiatric settings, outpatient clinics, and group practices, where I treated a wide range of presenting concerns across developmental stages. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The City College of New York.
In addition to my private practice, I serve in leadership and clinical roles at Inclusive Minds Foundation, a neurodiversity-affirming nonprofit organization. As an adolescent and adult psychologist and Director of Assessments, I lead a multidisciplinary team conducting evaluations for individuals and families nationwide, helping them gain clarity about cognitive, emotional, and relational patterns and identify meaningful next steps.
I provide teletherapy and in-person services, with an office located in the West Village of Manhattan.
*As a post-doctoral clinician, I hold a limited permit to practice psychology under the supervision of Neal Vorus, Ph.D., Henry Kronengold, Ph.D., and Dr. Rahimeh Andalibian, Psy.D.
